SPECTROSCAN META

elemental analyzer for determining the total sulfur content by UV fluorescence and the total nitrogen content by chemiluminescence

SKU: spectroscan meta Category:

SPECTROSCAN META is an elemental analyzer for determining the total sulfur content by UV fluorescence and the total nitrogen content by chemiluminescence in oil and oil products, hydrocarbon gas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), natural gas, liquefied natural gas (LNG), chemical synthesis products, biological materials.

SPECTROSCAN META

The analyzer allows you to determine the content of sulfur and nitrogen in oil and oil products (diesel fuel, gasoline, kerosene, gas oil and any distillate oil products), hydrocarbon gas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), natural gas, liquefied natural gas (LNG), chemical synthesis products, biological materials by ultraviolet fluorescence and chemiluminescence.

The analyzer is designed to determine:

– mass fraction of sulfur in accordance with GOST ISO 20846-2016, GOST R 56866-2016, GOST 34237-2017, ASTM D5453-16, ASTM D6667-14, ASTM D7551-15, ISO 20729-17;

– mass fraction of nitrogen in accordance with ASTM D4629-17.

Wide concentration ranges from ultra-low to high.

Modular principle: each detector is a separate module. The device is completed individually for each specific task.

Possibility of simultaneous determination of sulfur and nitrogen during the analysis.

The analyzer’s principle of operation is to burn the sample under study in an oxygen-enriched atmosphere or air at a temperature of 1050 ° C. Sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxide (NO) formed during combustion are transferred by the carrier gas to the detection units with preliminary removal of water vapor on a desiccant, and soot on a filter.

Determination of sulfur is carried out by ultraviolet fluorescence.

Determination of nitrogen – by chemiluminescence method.

Characteristics of Spectroscan META

The analyzer consists of a furnace unit, measuring units for sulfur and nitrogen, a module for injecting gases and liquefied gases. The analyzer modification depends on the tasks set.

Temperature control and gas flow control is carried out manually using the built-in keyboard and rotameters of the furnace block.

The sample is fed manually or in a semi-automatic mode using a device for introducing liquid, gaseous and liquefied samples, which provides a sample feed at a controlled and constant rate.

advantages:

  • Accurate determination of total sulfur (S), total nitrogen (N) in one sample.
  • Low detection limit: 0.2 ppm (S), 0.025ppm (N)
  • Wide reading range: 0.03-10000 ppm (S), 0.03-10000 ppm (N)
  • Wide measuring range: 1-5000 ppm (S), 0.05-5000 ppm (N)
  • Weak matrix influence: carbon / hydrogen ratio, additives, water
  • Sample analysis time from 3 minutes
  • Semi-automatic device for injecting liquids and a module for injecting gases and liquefied gases
  • Convenient software interface, built-in diagnostics, metrological verification.
  • The “Standby” mode has been implemented, which allows maintaining the analyzer in operating mode while maintaining the proper state of all elements of the gas system.
  • Produced in the Russian Federation, 2 years warranty
