On the occasion of the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan and the performance of the Iftar ceremony with the presence of believers, Artin Azma Mehr Company, while inviting the oil and gas and petrochemical industry workers and activists, held an Iftar banquet on the evening of Tuesday, May 6, 2022.
This ceremony was held with the presence of representatives from the private sector and the academic community, as well as oil and gas and petrochemical officials and the Petroleum Exporters Association. And the network of beneficiaries of the oil and gas and petrochemical industry was in the field of laboratories, catalysts and chemicals.
During this discussion, Dr. Hosseini from the oil exporters trade union, Dr. Azin from the Persian Gulf University, Bushehr, and Dr. Seyed Amirhossein Alavifar, the CEO of Artin Azma Mehr Company, were present and gave a speech and gave their views on the issues related to oil and Gas was informed to the audience.
The main topics discussed in this meeting was the importance of networking for the stakeholders of this field during today’s complexities of industry and business.
During this meeting, Mr. Dr. Hamid Hosseini, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Products Exporters Union, gave a speech and pointed out the issues that arose around the developments in Russia and said:
The developments around the issues of Russia can be both a threat to our country and an opportunity in some aspects.
He expressed his hope that the officials will consider the economic effects that can be placed on our producers and exporters so that we can make the most of the opportunities created.
In the continuation of the ceremony, Mr. Dr. Reza Azin, a professor at the Faculty of Petroleum Engineering and a PhD student in Petroleum Engineering from Sharif University of Technology and head of the Oil and Gas Research Center of the Persian Gulf University in Bushehr, gave a speech and expressed his satisfaction at being present in the company of businessmen and industrialists of the area. oil,Gas, said:
“I would like to announce that nowadays the time of university, industry and market has come and entrepreneurship centers, innovation centers and start-ups have established within the university and the relationship between the university and the industry is more or less good. And the Persian Gulf University has entered the club of universities that have undertaken field-based studies. The Persian Gulf University is currently implementing the Nowruz oil field project. Currently, the structure of the university is moving in the direction where hosting the industry is considered as a daily and routine work.
On the other hand, due to the type of work that is done in the university, the study of emerging technologies is on the agenda. Technologies that may enter Iran with a delay. Also, we have negotiations with a number of petrochemicals in the field of using the Internet of Things in the oil and gas industry, which helps to improve technology. Here, I invite all the dear ones, both individually and organizationally, to have a more active presence in the university regarding work on such issues.
He added that Artin Azma Mehr Company is also a knowledge-based company based in Science and Technology Park, which signed a joint cooperation memorandum with Persian Gulf University in March 1400.
And during numerous meetings with the CEO of the company, we are developing science and technology programs, both in the field of research and in the field of promotion.
He expressed his hope that with these cooperations, an effective step can be taken to improve the country’s industry and economy.
In the continuation of the ceremony, Mr. Dr. Seyed Amirhossein Alavifar, a graduate of the oil and gas doctoral course from Moscow State University and the co-founder and CEO of Artin Azma Mehr Company, also gave a speech and while welcoming the audience and wishing them to accept their prayers and prayers, he said:
“From the official start of the company in 2018 until the end of March 2021, 427 small and large projects and contracts have been signed, and only two of these have been returned, and in the quality control literature, it is equivalent to 4 sigma, which, although there is room for improvement but the performance is defensible.
He continued, this statistic was obtained by employing an elite team of young friends in the company. Also, the signing of a contract with Russia’s Venios Kazan Oil and Gas Institute in 2019 attracted Russian foreign capital to establish a demercaptanization catalyst production unit in Bushehr Special Economic Zone. And in fact, according to our friends in the Iran-Russia Chamber of Commerce, we were the first company that managed to attract foreign capital and did joint production work. And after that, we registered the knowledge base of the company.
He stated the purpose of holding such gatherings and said: The main purpose of such gatherings is to be included in the supply chain in the country.
And to use this network and the effectiveness of the network to reach a suitable solution by sharing opinions for complex issues that have different stakeholders.
He expressed his hope that more communication will be established between industry members, trade unions and universities. Also, establishing a trade union relationship on behalf of Artin Azma Company with the Oil and Gas Products Exporters Union is also an important step for the company. Also, Artin Azma Company is a member of Iran Chemical Industries Union and membership in Iran Chemical Engineering Association is also one of the honors of this company.
He continued, during the 4 years that we have entered the country’s oil and gas industry, we have always been interested in maintaining this effective relationship, both in the supply of laboratory equipment, in the supply of catalysts and chemicals, and in the production of catalysts.
And by creating a network effect, we will achieve more effectiveness in the service and production process.
While pointing to the problems facing the industry, he said: Today, the global conditions are such that we are suffering from two problems in the supply chain, one is internal problems.
And the second problem is the situation that has arisen in the world due to the discussion of Covid and immediately after that the Russian war. According to the Economist, these conditions have caused supply chain costs around the world to increase by 25%. Today, we see that big companies like Metarahm and Metroldo Switzerland have increased their delivery time from two months to 5 months. Also, German and Chinese companies have started to raise unprecedented prices and increase the delivery time of goods, and the only way to manage the global crisis is to diversify the supply chain.
At the end of his speech, he expressed his hope that in the future seminars of the company, which will be held around laboratory equipment, as well as about catalysts and chemical substances.
