CR-35. Reforming catalyst
CR-35 Catalyst with Catalytic Reforming Process in Fixed Bed
An advanced catalyst for enhancing fuel octane number and producing valuable aromatic compounds. This catalyst is specifically used in the naphtha reforming process to convert heavy hydrocarbons into lighter and more valuable compounds such as benzene, toluene, and xylene (BTX). The CR-35 catalyst is recognized for its optimal performance, ability to produce fuels with high octane numbers, and high economic yield.
The CR-35 catalyst is designed in a three-lobed extrudate with a diameter of 2 to 3 millimeters and contains active platinum metal (0.25-0.35 weight percent), providing excellent performance in improving fuel quality and petrochemical products.
Advantages
- Production of high-octane fuels: Capability to produce reformate with an octane number of 98.
- High yield: Reformate (C5+) production yield in the range of 86-88 weight percent.
- Long lifespan: Minimum operational cycle of two years and overall lifespan of 8 to 10 years.
- Stable performance: Reduced coke formation and maintained yield during the operational period.
Application
The CR-35 catalyst is designed for use in the reforming process in fixed beds and is specifically employed in refinery units to improve fuel quality and produce valuable aromatic products.
