mercury analyzer RA-915 Lab

RA-915 Lab is an automated laboratory direct mercury analyzer with 45-position autosampler. This cutting-edge instrument offers precise and reliable analysis for Hg detection in various samples. With its advanced technology and easy-to-use interface, RA-915 Lab provides you with the tools you need to achieve accurate results in environmental, industrial, geological applications, and more. The analyzer can be optionally supplied without autosampler.

RA-915 Lab provides accurate, reliable and cost-effective analysis of any kind of solid and liquid samples through direct thermal decomposition with no pretreatment, reagents and almost no wastes. This supersensitive highly selective instrument does not require any chemicals and compressed gases for the operation. From detecting mercury in soil and water to food and pharmaceuticals analysis, the RA-915 Lab delivers unmatched performance and versatility, making it an indispensable tool in modern analytical laboratories.

principle of operation

Direct thermal decomposition followed by atomic absorption spectrometry at 254 nm wavelength with Zeeman correction for background absorption makes interference-free measurements easy and quick. The technique ensures the most selective and sensitive analysis without matrix effects.

features and benefits

  • Direct and fast analysis of solids, liquids, and biosamples
  • Low limit of detection and highest selectivity due to Zeeman background correction
  • The unique dynamic analytical range extended up to 2 000 000 ppb covers all possible applications and samples
  • No need for sample pretreatment and reagents reduces analysis cost
  • Safe and simple running: no compressed gases (oxygen or argon), air is used as a carrier gas
  • No pre-concentration on gold traps increases analysis speed and reduces exploitation complexity
  • No memory effect: a sample with low mercury concentration can be analyzed immediately after a high mercury sample
  • Programmable furnace for optimal samples decomposition and mercury thermospeciation study
  • Autosampler for 45 positions supports loading on the go

APPLICATIONS

The analyzer is used for the direct determination of mercury concentration in:

  • soils, sediments;
  • rocks, ores, minerals;
  • crude oil, oil products, naphtha, petrochemicals;
  • coal, coke, fly ash, gypsum;
  • sorbent traps for stack gases;
  • passive air samplers;
  • drinking water;
  • waste waters, wastes, sludge;
  • food, nutritional additives, animal feedstuff;
  • biosamples: tissues, hair, urine, blood, etc.;
  • drugs and cosmetics;
  • plastics, fertilizers, raw materials;
  • and many other materials.

Mercury determination with RA-915 Lab analyzer complies with the globally adopted standards based on direct thermal decomposition, such as:

  • ASTM D6722, ASTM D7622
  • US EPA methods 7473, 30B, PS12B
  • EN / TS 17286
  • SN/T 4429.2-2016
  • HJ 923-2017 and others.

SOFTWARE

RAPID is an efficient and intuitive software designed for the operation of RA-915 Lab mercury analyzer. RAPID software fully complies with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.

It provides:

  • data acquisition, processing, and reporting;
  • real-time visualization of selective and non-selective absorbance;
  • databases for calibrations, processing and storage of measurement data;
  • adjustable modes for optimal thermal decomposition of any specific matrices.

Automatic closed-loop temperature control extends the measurement range and ensures no data loss during analysis of complex-matrix samples or highly contaminated samples. RAPID’s thermoscanning function gives additional information about mercury speciation in samples.

warranty

RA-915 Lab mercury analyzer is covered by a full 1-year warranty.
