Method Description
EN 27941 (ISO 7941:1988) is an approved and widely accepted method in EU countries.
It is particularly popular among companies exporting propane and butane abroad.
In essence, it serves as an alternative to GOST 33012 and GOST 10679, although there are some specific requirements regarding system configuration.
According to the method, the column M 6 m (9 m), 25% Sebaconitrile on Chromosorb P-AW 80/100 operates starting from 20°C, therefore the system must include a column oven cooling unit.
The method allows both:
- liquid sample injection (preferred option)
- gaseous sample injection (less preferred option)
